Awesome weekend ride ++

If you don't have a bike in Singapore and fancy a weekend blast, I can really recommend this tour. If you do have a bike and want an expert tour guide, this trip ticks all the boxes.

Arriving at Eagle Rider to get a briefing and check over the bikes (I took the Harley Street 750) we set off with Peter the guide. Crossing the border into Malaysia at Tuas was simple and well organised as Pete had all the necessary toll cards etc.

Then out on the open road towards Kluang, we got off the motorway onto the back roads and a few twisties to test the bike's torque and power. Great relaxing stop at Kluang for coffee and then back in the saddle to head for north of Melaka (Malacca). Easy riding at good, fast speeds set by the riders, not Pete.

Excellent lunch overlooking the ocean just north of Melaka central. Easy ride into town to then check in to our excellent hotel, right on the riverfront! Twilight river cruise (do it!) followed by entertaining dinner at Jonker Walk. Night cap, then ready for some serious Melaka sightseeing the next morning. Tour really lived up to its name of "historical". If you've not been, I recommend a visit to this town, it's a trip back in time.
Back on the road, Pete still setting a very acceptable pace, we weaved our way to the next sights and then back to the motorway for quick trip back to SG. Even a downpour didn't dampen spirits. Finished the weekend off with dinner and a beer or two at Handlebar, an excellent bike rider theme bar and restaurant near Alexandra.

Easy leaving leaving the bikes back at Buona Vista. Big smiles!

Seriously thinking about doing it again, but trying out one of the other EagleRider bikes.

Everything was simple, no hassles and all enjoyment.

Shiny side up! Rgds, David.
