Start in Carmel and ride the famous Pacific Coast Highway for an unforgettable coastal ride visiting destinations such as Big Sur, Cambria, and the historic Hearst Castle. You journey will also ride inland via mountains roads full of switchbacks back to the Carmel Valley.

Tour Itinerary

Start in Carmel via Hwy 1. First area of interest to ride the beautiful waterfront of Monterey around the backside of Pebblebeach and through Cannery Row. There is also a beautiful Aquarium you will need to visit. Continue through Pacific Grove and around to the quaint town of Carmel. Enjoy the magnificent beach at the bottom of Ocean Avenue or eat at one of the many small restaurants. You can enjoy the rest of the day heading down the open coast on Hwy 1 toward Big Sur. Incredible ocean views, (top 10 coastline on the Earth). You will have ocean side stops to view whales, sea otters, sea lions, waterfalls, and beautiful lagoons. Overnight in Big Sur.
Today continue on Hwy 1 toward San Simeon and eventually Cambria. Be sure to stop and take one of the many tours of the magnificent Hearst Castle. After a tour of this iconic castle, continue to your overnight stop.
A ride back up to Carmel via quaint valley and hilly passes and plenty of switchbacks. Ride by Lake Nacimiento and up to the Carmel Valley for wine tasting and a great saloon in Carmel Valley. Continue to return bikes and depart.
