The BMW F 800 GT is replacing the BMW F800ST model for 2013 and has a 798cc parallel Twin which now boasts a claimed 90 hp at 8000 rpm. It has a fresh design on the windscreen to better shield riders from the elements. The handlebars have been moved up and also BMW has repositioned the footpegs. They tightened up the suspension settings as well which contributes to its increased load capacity of 207 kg (456 pounds), an increase of 11 kg. The seat has been revised in an attempt to make both rider and passenger more comfortable as the BMW F 800 GT saddle comes with three height settings. Lastly, BMW redid the luggage system to make it more ‘practical’ and re-designed the front fairing to better shelter riders.
