I love Goldwings have since 73 when I seen the concept drawings have owned the 14th Goldwing off the production line in 1975 actually 74 was the production Year. Have personally owned three 81' and 82' as well meantained my dad's 82'
This is my second Goldwing first was a 1500 great bike then in 2004 new 1800 best riding handling dependable bike on the market. You don't know what your missing till you experience luxury of this Goldwing !
Rented 2012 Handled nicely with plenty of power through out RPM range. The perfect long touring comfort ride.
For the size, and touring capabilities, the Goldwing is an amazing bike to ride. You can take it into winding roads, and just have fun! It feels considerably lighter than it is, and is more fun to ride than I ever expected. Comfort is second-to-none, as well. Heated seats (with separate controls for rider and passenger), heated grips, vents to warm your feet, cruise control and an adjustable windshield all combine to make this a bike you can ride all day with no problems. I also added mini floorboards to give my legs a stretch on those long hauls. Excellent stereo and a user friendly navigation system just add to the positive experience. All of that, and I can actually hear birds when I'm riding at 100 km/hr on the back roads.
Not enough luggage capacity? It's a motorcycle, not an Accord. If it doesn't fit in this bike, you don't need it.
