Theodore Roosevelt National Park
Address: 6701 Hwy 83 South Minot, North Dakota 58701
The wildlife that graze these lands were the inspiration for much of President Roosevelt’s conservation efforts. You can still see the bison, elk, bighorn sheep and wild horses roaming as you ride through this desolate terrain. This is a landscape Theodore Roosevelt referred to as “an abode of iron desolation.” It’s $10 to enter the park. View map here.
