From Kamloops follow the famous 5A – Coquihalla Highway to Merritt known for its Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. Take in the Walk of Stars in Merritt, and enjoy breathtaking scenery through the Nicola Valley. Follow Highway 8 to Spences Bridge - guided by the Nicola River, then travel a short distance along highway 1 and arrive in Lytton where the Thompson River and Fraser River join. Hop onto Highway 12 to get to Lillooet. The Old Suspension Bridge in Lillooet is not only a historic site, but is home to thousands of bats as part of a bat housing project. The Chinese Rocks along the river are also an interesting stop. Ride the twisty highway 99 to Cache Creek. Along the way you’ll find the majestic Marble Canyon that is home to Pavilion Lake, which is one of the few sites in the world that has fresh water coral, as well as the Crown Lake Falls. Head back to Kamloops on Highway 1 passing beautiful Kamloops Lake and Tobiano golf course – stop at the lookout for a photo!
