Tour Itinerary

Welcome to Billings! Registration and check-in will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Beartooth Harley-Davidson. EagleRider is located within the Beartooth Harley-Davidson dealership. After checking in and receiving your Rally Package take a drive to Pompeys Pillar east of Billings, the only location on the Lewis & Clark Expedition where there is extant evidence of the expedition. Clark chiseled his name and the date into the rock pillar. This is a National Park with a park entrance fee. Your Touring Rally experience starts with a hosted welcome celebration, party and opening ceremony between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Beartooth Harley-Davison, 6900 I-90 Frontage Rd, Billings, MT 59101. Don’t stay out too late as your exciting riding rally experience starts the following morning.
You will want to get an early start to give yourself plenty of time to explore the world famous Beartooth Highway and Pass along with the northwest side of Yellowstone National Park. Beartooth Pass Harley-Davidson, 14 Broadway Ave N, Red Lodge, MT 59068 will be open at 7:30 a.m. for a warm cup of coffee and breakfast snacks. There are so many places to stop and explore along the way, so get your camera out and ready to take some stunning photos. At the very top of at 10,947 ft. you will find the Beartooth Pass sign that makes for a great picture. If you arrive in Gardiner early enough, there are a number of Yellowstone providers of white water rafting, float rafting, and horseback riding.
We have selected a great route that takes you into Idaho but gives you more of Yellowstone and the wonderful roads on the way to Jackson. We suggest you check detail maps of this area so that you can take advantage of what the entire road has to offer. While we exit Yellowstone for a short period, don’t fret, as we’ll be back in Yellowstone on Day 4 with even more amazing beauty and sights. While nothing formal is currently planned, rally riders can meet-up at the legendary Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for adult beverages and some good ole fashion live music.
This is a day we have all been looking for. It would be very hard to top this day with two major National Parks to visit, Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Get an early start, take your time and savor the incredible beauty of two of the most incredible National Parks in the United States. If you have never seen Old Faithful do take an easy side trip up Rt 191. Keep an eye out for roaming buffalo on the highways. Remember they have the right away and never get personally close to a wild animal. You have two different ways to get to Cody from Old Faithful, take a look at your map and figure out the best route that works for you. You have several options once you arrive in Cody for what to do. The Buffalo Bill Harley-Davidson, 1137 Sheridan Ave, Cody, WY 82414 will stay open until 8 p.m. to grab that special Buffalo Bill tee shirt. The Cody Stampede/Cody Nite Rodeo happens every evening at 8 p.m. How about dawning your “kickers” and get your picture taken with Mongo the Cody rodeo bull.
This is the day for riders. You will experience both Chief Joseph and Beartooth Highways again heading North. These two highways are considered two of the “Top 10” roads in the US, and you get to ride them back-to-back. There is something exciting about experiencing almost 11,000 ft. elevations twice in 5 days. That’s what we all live for. Stop in Red Lodge, MT before returning to Billings. We have a small, but special closing ceremony planned at Beartooth Harley-Davidson from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The details noted above are subject to change and are updated often.
