Tour Itinerary

Welcome to SoCal! Please plan to arrive at EagleRider Los Angeles by 4pm to pick up your bike. We’ll enjoy a relaxed evening so we are all ready to hit the road and kick off 3 incredible days of riding tomorrow.
Let’s hit the road! Head south through Orange County to pick up one of the favorite road with local riders, the famous Ortega Highway. The Ortega Hwy was first formed in 1917 by nothing but men and horse teams cutting a path that meanders along the banks of the San Juan Creek. Today, it is a pure joy to ride! Dropping down from the Ortega through the valley of Lake Elsinore gives us a few minutes to refuel and grab a quick bite before picking up our next mountain pass for the day, the famous Palms to Pines Highway. If you love the “twisties” you are in for one heck of a ride! Tonight, we’ll relax in the warm desert air of Palm Springs.
No need to pack up today, so grab your riding gear and get ready for the incredible scenery of Joshua Tree National Park. This is a 100 mile round trip route. Explore the vibrant red rock formations and “Joshua Trees” that can only be seen in the Mojave Desert in and around the park. The ride takes 3 – 4 hours, so you can be back at the hotel in plenty of time to catch some afternoon sun at the pool, or even to hit one of the many nearby championship golf courses for an afternoon round.
It’s always tough to think of heading home after a couple of great riding days, but you will get one last taste of the Coachella Valley as you roll along the shores of the Salton Sea and head west through the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, a favorite weekend spot for ORV lovers. The town of Julian is a must stop, and is famous for boasting some of the best apple pie in the world, but we’ll let you be the judge. Head out of Julian and drop back down towards the coast and San Diego. You can be back in plenty of time for an early evening flight, we definitely suggest hanging around for a couple more days to enjoy this beautiful Pacific Ocean city.
