Mountains, Rivers, and Canyon Motorcycle Tour - Tour Itinerary

Welcome to Los Angeles! On the eve of this incredible journey you will meet up with your fellow riders for an orientation meeting at the hotel as we prepare to ride through some of the greatest roads in the American Southwest. Your tour guide will provide you a thorough overview of what to expect in the coming days and answer any last minute questions you may have. I’m sure there may also be a cold drink or two to be shared.
This morning you pick up your bike at EagleRider’s Los Angeles store and you head south. Ride the winding Ortega Highway to Lake Elsinore, and travel like an eagle through the roads of San Bernardino National Forest and further into Palm Springs. Tonight will be at an EagleRider favorite spot for dinner.
Today you'll get to dip into Joshua Tree National Park then make your way towards the might Colorado River. Hwy 95 winds you up the river to beautiful Lake Havasu where you'll get to enjoy a sunset boat ride with drinks!
We continue our ride and start off going to a legendary Route 66 city with wild animals in Oatman. Considered to be “The heart of Historic Route 66”, as it’s situated in the middle of the longest remaining stretch of the old “Mother Road”. From Oatman you head for Seligman, another one of the longest surviving stretches of Route 66, which heads off in a northern loop through the Hualapai Indian Reservation. After a stop in Seligman we continue our ride towards the majestic Grand Canyon; be prepared for one of the greatest sights man has ever seen!
We spend the morning at the Grand Canyon to get some fantastic views from a helicopter ride that you'll never forget. Then we’ll cruise along the South Rim for a few miles and leave Grand Canyon National Park at the East entrance. As you head north you will cross the Colorado River at Marble Canyon via the infamous Navajo Bridge. After passing Vermilion Cliffs National Monument the little Western town of Kanab awaits you. Nicknamed “Little Hollywood”, Kanab has a history as a filming location for many famous Western movies and television series.
Soon after leaving Kanab you will reach Zion National Park. After admiring the beautiful rock formations you are in for an exciting set of hairpin switchbacks with phenomenal views back into the canyon and up to the pastel-colored sandstone of the surrounding peaks. On your way back to Las Vegas you'll check out the Valley of Fire and Lake Mead. The name of this spectacularly scenic state park is derived from its red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes. These features, which are the centerpiece of the park’s attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun’s rays. After returning the motorcycle in Las Vegas, it’s your chance to go out and enjoy an unforgettable night in Sin City.
This day is for relaxing, gambling, exploring or whatever your heart desires.
We hope you enjoyed your EagleRider tour. Be sure to let us know if you would like to spend some extra time in Las Vegas or keep your EagleRider motorcycle a bit longer and we will make the arrangements for you. We hope to see you soon!
