Tour Itinerary

Welcome to the land of perpetual sunshine and Mickey Mouse. You may want to arrive in Orlando a couple of days early to take in Disney world, Universal Studios, or just to unwind with a few rounds of golf. Whatever you choice may be, Orlando is certainly the city that has something for everybody. Tonight we will meet our fellow riders for the first time as we enjoy one another’s company, a cold drink and great meal in a lively Orlando eatery.
Today is about feeling the warm Florida air wash over us as we make our way from Orlando to Daytona Beach. This morning you pick up your bike at EagleRider’s Orlando location and we are off to see the sunshine state. From Orlando we head east checking out Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where rockets launch and inspiration begins at Florida’s gateway to space and experience greatest space adventure on Earth. We then continue north along the coast to worlds famous Daytona Beach.
Today we head west to Ocala. First stop will be at the world’s center of racing, Daytona International Speedway. From here its on to one of the nation’s largest Harley Davidson dealership’s. We then continue west through the Ocala National Forest representing the heart of central Florida. Enjoy the short ride to Ocala. This ain’t horse country by no means – despite the vast backdrop of horse farms, horse barns, horse tracks and, of course horses. No. This isn’t horse country, not in the same way other areas are designated that way. Ocala is the horse capital of the world!
Today try to get up early and enjoy the fresh country air before we hit the road. This morning we tour the area including a couple horse farms along the way.. We continue south to Crystal River and on to Tarpon Springs, home of the sponge docks and the famous Greek Community with the finest Greek Restaurants, Markets and Bakeries in the Country. From Tarpon Springs we are continue on to St Petersburg / Clearwater to the Gulf of Mexico and its exciting beaches.
This morning we continue south along St Pete Beach, across the Sunshine Skyway bridge. The Travel Channel rated Sunshine Skyway number 3 in its special on the "Top 10 Bridges" in the World. We will continue south along the Gulf of Mexico for our afternoon arrival in to Naples.
We start our journey today on our way to the Florida Keys. We will cruise along the north rim of Everglades National Park. Let us know if you are ready to try your hand at alligator wrestling, if not set back and watch the professionals do it.
You’ve seen this stretch in movis such as Mission Impossible 2, but now here’s your chance to ride a motorcycle along the myriad of bridges, sand bars and concrete that make up the Florida Keys. EagleRider loves riding in the mountains, but there is something about riding alongside the white sands and turquoise waters of the Keys that keeps us dreaming of this trip all summer long.
What is your pleasure today? Whether it is fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring remote beaches, kayaking, water sports, or simply kicking back with your toes in the sand at a local beach bar, Key West has what you are looking for. You are in paradise so kick back and enjoy the lifestyle and people that keep the likes of Jimmy Buffet coming back year after sunny year. Tonight we will get the group together for a big night out in Key West.
We start our journey north today on our way out of the Florida Keys towards Miami Beach and her inviting beaches. We will have one last opportunity to dine on a bucket of ice cold shrimp along the keys before into Miami and Miami Beach. Every serious motorcycle rider needs to ride about ten places before you hang up your leathers, and the strip along Miami South Beach is a seemingly endless stream of tanned bodies, sidewalk cafés, eclectic restaurants, and some of the hottest beach clubs in the world.
We continue our northern trek from Miami Beach through Fort Lauderdale, on Florida’s southeastern coast. Known for its beaches and boating canals, the Fort Lauderdale strip is a promenade running along Oceanside highway. Lined with restaurants, bars, boutiques and luxury hotels you’ll have plenty to do in your free time. After lunch we will continue our journey north to Juno Beach for an ocean side lunch.
Our journey comes to an end today but not before we get one last day of seriously fun riding under our belts. We’ll roll into Orlando late in this afternoon with a renewed sense of energy, some sand in our boots and, of course, a great tan. Tonight we’ll meet for our last dinner to recount our journey of sun, sand, cold shrimp, the sea and many new friends.
We hope you enjoyed your tour with EagleRider. Please let us know if you would like to spend a little more time in Florida or stay a bit longer with your motorcycle and we will make reservations for you!
