Puget Sound Day-Ride - Tacoma
Dirección: 2302 Pacific Hwy E. Fife, Washington 98424
Get the full Pacific Northwest experience in 1 day! This scenic day-ride has it all: mountains, forests, coastal views! This clockwise loop of Puget Sound starts with a crossing of the Tacoma Narrows bridge, followed by a relaxing ride through the farms and hamlets of the Kitsap Peninsula; the town of Shelton is a very good place to stop for a coffee break. Next, you’ll ride north along the coastline of Hood Canal, a picturesque natural fjord, and stop for lunch in the charming seaside town of Port Townsend, at the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula. Fresh local seafood restaurants abound and be sure to check out its historic downtown district, known for the many Victorian buildings remaining from its 19th-century heyday.
For the final leg of your journey, ride south through the peninsula port towns of Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Gig Harbor before returning to Tacoma. NOTE: crossing the Tacoma Narrows Bridge is FREE going westbound, but going eastbound the toll for motorcycles (including driver + passenger) is $6, which must be paid at one of the cashier toll booths. Please consult the Washington State Dept. of Transportation (WSDOT) website for current pricing.
This relaxing day-ride is a terrific way to sample all the scenery the Seattle region has to offer. Enjoy!
