California Dreaming at its best: Pick up Highway 1 and enjoy a ride along the Pacific via Malibu and Oxnard into Santa Barbara. From here it’s on into the old West via the San Marcos Pass. California’s last stagecoach ran through this territory, leaving riding trails of all levels to enjoy. Overnight in Santa Maria.

Enjoy Californias Central Coast and head up to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. From here you ride inland, over the La Panza mountain range out to Carrizo Plain and across the oil fields of Taft and McKittrick. The loop will take you through the Sierra Madre Mountains and you continue into the historic town of Ojai, a popular artists’ colony and retreat. Overnight.

Discover the scenic backroads of Ventura County, cruise the Ojai Valley and ride over to Santa Paula – a pleasant place to stretch! Continue a few miles up to Fillmore and then make a right turn on Canyon Road, which will take you into Westlake Village. Now you head to Mullholland Drive (pick up either down at PCH or inland) and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Southern California Coastal Mountains while riding into Los Angeles. Time for sightseeing in sunny LA before you return your motorcycle.
