Texas / Louisiana Motorcycle Tour

Grab your bike from EagleRider Houston and get an early start to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the bayou country of Southern Texas and Louisiana. You'll want to stop and enjoy a late breakfast or early lunch along the boardwalk in Kemah, a favorite for Houston and Galveston locals for years. Our favorite lunch stop today is just about any roadside eatery that serves fresh seafood and ice cold drinks. You can't throw a rock down here without hitting a plate of fresh seafood. Tonight, take in the sights and sounds of Lake Charles, a popular gaming town with some Cajun and creole flare.

Day 2 :Lake Charles, LA - Shreveport, LA
Miles : 221 Kilometers : 356

Texas / Louisiana Motorcycle Tour

"We've all spent a night in Lake Charles so we won't bother telling you to get an early start today! So hit the road at your leisure and head North to run along the waters of the Toledo Bend Reservoir before rumbling into Shreveport, LA, another of our favorite cities to visit. The Local Tourism Board describes Shreveport like this; ""Our legacy . . . East Texas Cowboy, with a Cajun Twist. It’s that unique combination of two great American heritages that sets Shreveport-Bossier apart. It’s a little Texas, a little Cajun. You’ll find the combination reflected in our mouth-watering dining, where flavorful Texas steak may be combined with spicy crawfish. Or you might find it in our music, with nightclubs and concerts for jazz, country, bluegrass, folk, zydeco, and everything in between. There’s no place like it in America, a world of color and sound, taste and entertainment, elegant Southern charm and a relaxed attitude that suggest you kick off your boots and stay a while." Well, they pretty much said it all.

Day 3 :Shreveport, LA - Houston, TX
Miles : 252 Kilometers : 406

Texas / Louisiana Motorcycle Tour

There are plenty of miles to cover today, but they pass quickly as you wind through the lush green Louisiana and Texas countryside. Long, easy roads roll by sleepy towns and working farmland. You may want grab a sandwich and some fruit and stop for a picnic lunch in Twin Dikes Park along the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn. Let us know if you would like to book an extra night in Houston to enjoy the vibrant downtown area and one last night of great seafood and Southern hospitality.
