Your ride through one of the most desirable locations in B.C., the Okanagan Valley, continues as you are heading north to Kelowna. You pass through spectacular backcountry and encounter orchards and vineyards, evidence of some of the best fruit-and vegetable growing land in the world. Dozens of parks surround Okanangan Lake – this is an outdoor playground where the only difficulty is deciding what to do with your time… Kelowna is the center of the fruit and vineyard region around Lake Okanagan – a third of all apples harvested in Canada come from here. The lake is also known for its legendary monster, the Ogopogo, a Loch Ness type beast. You stick with Hwy 97 and ride north via Vernon, a perfect holiday town with a vibrant downtown. Leaving Vernon, Hwy 97 will take you back all the way into Kamloops. Upon arrival it will be time to return your bike at EagleRider’s Kamloops location.
