Welcome to Sin City! We will kick off our journey with a shopping excursion to Las Vegas Harley Davidson before a nice group dinner at the Harley Davidson Café, courtesy of EagleRider. Tonight we will enjoy the sights and sounds of Las Vegas with our fellow riders from around the world with excitement in anticipation of the amazing journey ahead. Pre-ride accommodations are available for those wishing to arrive a day or two before the start of the tour.

This morning we will make the short five minute van ride to EagleRider Las Vegas to pick up our bikes. After a safety briefing and group orientation we will put rubber to the road for the first of what will be many incredible miles to come. Las Vegas will disappear in our mirrors as we head into the vast desert lowlands of Death Valley. This area records some of the hottest temperatures in the world during the summer, but in December it is much more inviting. Tonight we will enjoy dinner, drinks and great music under the brightest blanket of stars you have ever seen.

Today we ride West to finish our crossing of the entire width of Death Valley before heading south along California’s beautiful Highway 395. We will cut through deep valley walls and soak in the warm winter air of the California desert, stopping to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Ridgecrest and Red Rocks State Park. Barstow, our home for the night, is one of California’s most famous and important cities along Route 66. We will have dinner and drinks tonight at some of the famous Route 66 restaurants and bars, but not before we visit our second holiday shopping spot on the tour. The group will have plenty of time to shop at Tanger Outlet Mall in Barstow where our group will be treated to a VIP shopping experience.

Let’s shake off the dust from a great night out along Route 66 and start making our way toward the most famous desert in North America, the Mojave National Preserve. From the Mojave we cross the border into the warm, welcoming air of Arizona and Lake Havasu, a vast warm water reservoir created by the Parker Dam on the Colorado River. Lake Havasu City is a year round riding and boating paradise with a quaint downtown area along the water where the group will enjoy some great shopping, dining and nightlife.

Get ready for another incredible day of riding! Our ride will start out hugging the winding road that runs along the Colorado River before crossing the bridge back into California. The highlight of today’s ride is a long, leisurely ride through Joshua Tree National Park. The park takes its name from the thousands of Joshua Trees that thrive in this desert climate. However, what makes Joshua Tree National Park a truly magical place are the many unique rock formations. From Joshua Tree we make a short ride through the Yucca Valley into the desert oasis of Palm Springs, a thriving, warm winter retreat for California’s rich and famous for over 80 years.

Today offers something for everybody. Palm Springs is home to world class golf, luxurious spas, and the largest name brand Outlet Mall in California. For those looking to ride, we will have a half day excursion to Salton Sea which will still leave plenty of time for adventure, shopping or relaxing by the pool.

Ortega Highway, one of the most popular and scenic motorcycle riding roads in Southern California. Our riding journey will end when we drop the bikes at EagleRider Los Angeles early in the afternoon, but our time together will not end until we have taken in a bit more shopping and one last dinner together. We’ll make a stop at Los Angeles Harley Davison and Del Amo Fashion Center before enjoying an incredible evening together at some of our favorite local restaurants and bars. Tonight we will share a final toast to an incredible journey, lifelong memories, and new friends to share them with.
