Day 1 :Christchurch - Mt Cook

Day 2 :Mt Cook - Dunedin

Being based on the Inland Scenic Route, you're already on your way to the Southern Alps, stopping at a typical Canterbury farming town before heading over the mountains to the glacial blue Lake Tekapo. We’ll be visiting the Church of the Good Shepherd, New Zealand's smallest church before taking the fantastic 5 star motorcycling road to Mt Cook, home of the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.
Day 3 :Dunedin

This morning you'll be riding from Mount Cook heading south-east, you'll be riding alongside the South Islands hydro lakes with a visit to a couple of hydro-dams, then it’s through the rolling Otago hills and onwards alongside the Pacific ocean to the city of Dunedin.
Day 4 :Dunedin - Te Anau

Today is a Rest or Ride day in Dunedin which is renowned for it's Scottish style architecture and rare wildlife such as the yellow-eyed penguins and Royal Albatross. Explore this wonderful historical city for the day and take in the sights, there's plenty to do and the Otago Peninsula offers a great ride.
Day 5 :Te Anau - Milford Sound Return

Leaving Dunedin you get to ride the Southern Scenic Route through the Catlins Forest Park, this has only been sealed in the past few years opening yet another fantastic route for motorcyclists, stopping for lunch in the town of Invercargill to see Burt Munro’s ‘Fastest Indian' is a great highlight. Then it's north east to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound.
Day 6 :Milford Sound Return - Queenstown

Today you'll be riding one of the top riding routes in the world - the Fiordland National Park road into Milford Sound. Majestic mountains awash with waterfalls, mountain parrots flying overhead. Included in your tour package is a two-hour scenic boat cruise around Milford Sound where you may see dolphin, seals and penguins as well as getting to see New Zealands most pristine and scenic region.
Day 7 :Queenstown

Lakes, mountains, rivers, countryside villages, a winery lunch and time to watch the famous bungy jumping before we reach Queenstown, the 'adventure capital’ of the world. And rightly named! There's time this afternoon to relax and explore this exciting Alpine town and its surrounding areas, taking advantage of the many activities on offer.
Day 8 :Queenstown - Franz Josef

A rest or ride day for you to do your own thing in Queenstown. Recommended activities and attractions include jet-boating, white-water rafting, paragliding, Gondola ride to mountain top, the luge, vintage steamship lake cruise & farm tour, The Lord of the Rings Jeep tour and much more. You may also decide to go for a popular local ride in the afternoon with your guides, we're always happy to go out for a ride around Queenstown.
Day 9 :Franz Josef - Punakaiki

Today we ride over the highest tar-sealed road in New Zealand towards the lush rain forests of the west coast. Historic pubs, lakes, rivers, interesting townships and Tasman sea views to die for before the gigantic mountains with their glaciers start towering overhead.
Day 10 :Punakaiki - Christchurch

After visiting the mighty Glaciers we ride northwards with crashing waves on our left, rain-forest to our right. We stop to check out the local flora and fauna of the rugged West Coast, then some of the most scenic coastal riding you'll ever do to the small township of Punakaiki where we’ll be checking out the magnificent blow-holes and 'pancake rocks'.
Day 11 :Christchurch

Today is a truly breath-taking journey taking us from Punakaiki on the west coast, over the Southern Alps via the great Arthurs Pass and back to the Canterbury plains and Christchurch 'The Garden City'.
Day 12 :Christchurch - Blenhiem

Christchurch 'The Garden City' is a wonderful city to explore. Visit the arts district and explore the Botanic Gardens, maybe go 'punting' on the River Avon, visit Christchurch Cathedral and the surrounding shops. Being close to the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula Christchurch also offers some fantastic riding, from an afternoon in the hills above the city, to a full days ride to Akaroa, a very popular local ride which takes you deep into the Banks Peninsula.
Day 13 :Blenhiem - Wellington City

Ride through rolling hills which gradually give way to twisty ribbon roads over the mountains to the sea. We get right up close to the local seal colony,there's also time for whale watching before reaching the Marlborough Region famous for its excellent wines, here you can visit a local winery, go for a wine tour or simply relax with awesome scenery all around you.
Day 14 :Wellington City - Napier

We continue northwards to catch the ferry at Picton which will take us to Wellington in the North Island. The 3 hour ferry across the Cook Strait is a wonderful journey as we pick our way through the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. When we arrive, check out Wellingtons Te Papa Museum and experience the city's great nightlife.
Day 15 :Napier - Rotorua

The north island presents a different terrain as we traverse a wide variety of scenic terrain with twists and turns. There are some great routes off the main highway to show our guests and some historical towns to visit. Arriving in Napier 'the Art Deco Capital of the World' we cruise along the Marine Parade to our accommodation. Enjoy a twilight walk taking in the Art Deco styles Napier has on show.
Day 16 :Rotorua

Leaving Napier and the Hawke’s Bay behind, we ride inland and travel along the Thermal Explorer Highway. There are plenty of stops along the way and we’ll be visiting the roaring Huka Falls before making our way to Rotorua, where you can discover the Maori heritage and culture, and visit the amazing geothermal areas with its bubbling mud pools and huge plumes of thermal steam.
Day 17 :Rotorua - Whitianga

If you want to ‘ride New Zealand and live the dream’ some more, ‘the Rangitaiki Run’ is a pleasant one day romp offering a diverse range of scenery. Alternatively you can explore the geothermal areas and discover the unique culture of New Zealand's Maori people. Rotorua is entertaining in any weather, at any time of the year. There’s a feast of fun for everyone.
Day 18 :Whitianga - Auckland City

From Rotorua, we travel North via undulating farm lands to the Mount, a beautiful place to stop for lunch before continuing up the coast and onto the motorcycle mecca of the Coromandel Peninsula with its mile upon mile of GP quality bends. If you think this ride is good, just wait until tomorrow.
Day 19 :Auckland City - Paihia

Leaving Whitianga we ride the second half of the Coromandel Peninsula, it's a great day of riding, there's a pretty section of Pohutukawa bush lined riding along the Pacific Coast Highway which takes you all the way to Auckland, 'The city of sails'. Enjoy the evening here in New Zealand's largest and most vibrant city where we'll show you some more 'Kiwiana'.
Day 20 :Paihia

Leaving the hustle and bustle of the big city we head north to the beautiful Bay of Islands. Riding through the tight twist Kauri Forests up the coast is a great way to spend the day. There are some interesting stops along the way which included meeting the mighty Kauri trees themselves, the end destination is pure paradise and you'll be glad you have the day off in this picture perfect location.
Day 21 :Paihia - Auckland City

Apart from the fantastic biking routes, rest or ride days in places like this is what it's all about, time to relax unwind and enjoy what Paihia has to offer. Go out sailing around the Bay of Islands and moor up in a secluded bay, take a ferry over to Russell village or ride out to Waitangi where the historical Waitangi treaty between the British and Maori was signed.
Day 22 :Auckland City Departure

Dragging you away from Paihia we head down the east coast, there are some interesting stops along the way including the world famous Hundertwasser toilet! There's some good riding with a few off shoots to beautiful East Coast beaches, a Kiwi motorcycle pub is on the list of stops before the tour ends in Auckland and we all say goodbye. Then and only then can you say 'I have ridden New Zealand and Lived the Dream!'
