After collecting you from your Christchurch hotel and checking out your chosen motorcycle, enjoy a great ride with the group around the best biking roads of Christchurch and Banks Peninsula. Tonight its a super welcome evening dinner with cultural performance and wildlife tour.
Day 2 :Mt Cook - Dunedin

Being based on the Inland Scenic Route, you're already on your way to the Southern Alps, stopping at a typical Canterbury farming town before heading over the mountains to the glacial blue Lake Tekapo. We’ll be visiting the famous Church of the Good Shepherd, before taking the fantastic 5 star motorcycling road to Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain and home of the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.
Day 3 :Dunedin - Dunedin

This morning we heading south-east, easy riding with lots of GP quality bends, alongside beautiful glacier blue hydro-lakes.. After an interesting visit to one of the hydro-dams its a thrilling ride through the rolling Otago hills and onwards alongside the Pacific ocean to the city of Dunedin.
Day 4 :Dunedin - Te Anau

Today is a Rest or Ride day in Dunedin, renowned for it's Scottish style architecture and rare wildlife such as the yellow-eyed penguins and Royal Albatross. Explore this wonderful historical city for the day and take in the sights, there's plenty to do and the Otago Peninsula offers a great ride.
Day 5 :Te Anau - Milford Sound Return

Day 5 Description (This is a short description for this tour day segment ): Leaving Dunedin you get to ride the Southern Scenic Route through the Catlins Forest Park, this has only been sealed in the past few years opening yet another fantastic route for motorcyclists, stopping for lunch in the town of Invercargill to see Burt Munro’s ‘Fastest Indian' is a great highlight. Then it's north east to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound.

Day 6 :Milford Sound Return - Queenstown

Today you'll be riding one of the top riding routes in the world - the Fiordland National Park road into Milford Sound. Majestic mountains awash with waterfalls, mountain parrots flying overhead. Included in your tour package is a two-hour scenic boat cruise around Milford Sound where you may see dolphin, seals and penguins as well as getting to see New Zealand's most pristine and scenic region.
Day 7 :Queenstown - Queenstown

Lakes, mountains, rivers, countryside villages, a winery lunch and time to watch the famous bungy jumping before we reach Queenstown, the 'adventure capital’ of the world. And rightly named! There's time this afternoon to relax and explore this exciting Alpine town and its surrounding areas, taking advantage of the many activities on offer.
Day 8 :Queenstown - Franz Josef

A rest or ride day for you to do your own thing in Queenstown. Recommended activities and attractions include jet-boating, white-water rafting, paragliding, Gondola ride to mountain top, the luge, vintage steamship lake cruise & farm tour, The Lord of the Rings Jeep tour and much more. You may also decide to go for a popular local ride in the afternoon with your guides, we're always happy to go out for a ride around Queenstown.
Day 9 :Franz Josef - Punakaiki

Today we ride over the highest tar-sealed road in New Zealand towards the unspoiled and rugged West Coast. Riding through the lush rain forests we'll take in historic pubs, crystal clear lakes, raging rivers and waterfalls before exploring the mighty glaciers that flow down so close to the Tasman Sea, whether by quad-bike, helicopter, or on-foot.
Day 10 :Punakaiki - Christchurch

After visiting the glaciers we ride northwards with crashing waves on our left, rain-forest to our right. We stop to check out the local flora and fauna of the ruggest west coast, then some of the most scenic coastal riding you'll ever do to the small township of Punakaiki where we’ll be checking out the magnificent blow-holes and 'pancake rocks'.
Day 11 :Christchurch

Today is a truly breath-taking journey taking us from Punakaiki on the west coast, over the Southern Alps via the great Arthurs Pass and back to the Canterbury plains and Christchurch 'The Garden City'.
Day 12 :Christchurch - Blenhiem

Christchurch 'The Garden City' is a wonderful city to explore. Visit the arts district and explore the Botanic Gardens, maybe go for a punt up the River Avon, visit Christchurch Cathedral and the surrounding shops. Being close to the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula Christchurch also offers some fantastic riding, from an afternoon in the hills above the city, to a full days ride to the french sea-side village of Akaroa on the Banks Peninsula.
Day 13 :Blenhiem - Nelson

The tranquility of the Canterbury Plains gradually give way to amazing twisty ribbon roads that meander over the hills to the great Pacific Ocean Get close to a local seal colony, try out some great kiwi 'tucker' (food), or go whale-watching. All this before reaching the Marlborough region, famous for great food, great wine, and a great time.

Day 15 :Nelson - Hanmer Springs

One of New Zealand's sunniest cities, Nelson is surrounded by forest parks and golden sandy beaches, and great biking roads to get you there. Cafés, arts and craft galleries dot its landscape and today is your opportunity to explore the awesome Abel Tasman National Park. You will find an abundance of iconic kiwi style outdoor activities that include fishing, swimming, diving, rock-climbing, sailing, golfing, white-water rafting, kayaking, paragliding, kite boarding, horse trekking and skydiving to name but a few. Have fun!
Day 16 :Hanmer Springs - Christchurch

This is close to motorcycling heaven as we leave Nelson to ride through the winding Motueka valley through to the rafting capital of the world, Murchison, for lunch. A town flattened by an earthquake in the thirties, the results can be seen at the Maruia Falls, then on to the famous Lewis Pass for a 5 star blast before arriving at Hanmer Springs Alpine Village for a well earned soak in the famous open-air thermal hot springs.
Day 17 :Christchurch Departure

Today we're riding back over the mountain ranges to the rolling hills and plenty of delightful sweepers through limestone formations before arriving back at the peaceful Canterbury Plains. At Waipara we are back into wine sampling country, and we’ll be stopping at a marvelous winery for a celebratory lunch (cost not included), to hail what a fabulous motorcycle tour this has been.
