Bienvenidos a Baja California! This 4 Day, 3 Night guided tour will introduce you to the vibrant scenery, culture, cuisine and, most important, the incredible motorcycle roads of Northern Baja. In just four days you'll have a chance to explore the Gaslamp District of San Diego, the beaches and nightlife of Ensenada, ride Mexico's wine country in Valle De Guadalupe, and soak in warm sun of the high desert landscape outside Tecate. Whether you are a seasoned Mexico traveler, or a first time visitor, everybody will agree that the only way to explore this historic and inviting region is on two wheels

Tour Itinerary

Relax in San Diego a little bit upon your arrival, perhaps at famous attractions like Sea World or the world-renowned San Diego Zoo. At 4pm at your tour hotel you’ll get a chance to meet with your Tour Guides and fellow riders, to prepare for the journey ahead. Get a good night’s rest – tomorrow is the start of your Baja adventure!
After picking up our bikes at EagleRider's San Diego office our adventure begins! The ride to Ensenada begins with a border crossing at San Ysidro/Tijuana, one of the busiest border crossings in the world. Once we get through the traffic, it’ll be open roads and clear skies for the next few days. Beautiful photo stops abound, but the most spectacular overlook on today’s ride is at Salsipuedes Bay, with stunning views of the cliffs, coast, and surf. Situated on the coastline of Bahia de Todos Santos, an inlet on the peninsula’s Gold Coast, the city of Ensenada is an important commercial, fishing and tourist destination. Watersports including surfing, wind surfing, whale watching, sport fishing, and the Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race. Of course let’s not forget about the beginning of the famous Baja 1000 off-road race!
A scenic trip inland takes us to the Valle de Guadalupe, which is often compared to its northern neighbor: Northern California’s Napa Valley. Over 30 regional, national and international wineries offer wine tastings. This small region is also home to 2 of the top 10 restaurants in all of Mexico: Corazon de Tierra and Laja. During the month of August, the beginning of wine harvest season is celebrated in the Guadalupe Valley and in the city of Ensenada with a two-week-long series of cultural and culinary events, all under the title banner of Fiestas de la Vendimia (Wine Harvest Festival). This event attracts people from all over the world.
Our final ride together starts by heading toward the border town of Tecate, home of one of Mexico’s most popular beers. The annual Tecate-Ensenada Bicycle race (held in July) has thousands of participants from both sides of the border. Back in the USA, we’ll follow great twisty roads through the Laguna Mountains and the Otay County Open Space Preserve back to San Diego to return our bikes. We hope you enjoyed your ride through Baja California. Please be sure to let us know if you will need a night or two in San Diego. We look forward in arranging your next adventure!

Baja Tour

Baja seems to be a well kept secret ( in terms of world travel ) in the UK

Blue ocean, great coastlines and scenery, warm weather and friendly people make it your basic nightmare on a Harley

As far as Eaglerider tours go the bikes hotels and administration were all great

Our tour staff were Jeff in charge, Brad as deputy and DJ as van driver

They were all helpful and friendly and always pointed you towards a great photo opportunity or place to eat

Their experience was obvious in the unobtrusive way they monitored the group for hydration levels and the competence and experience of individuals

Both the length of the daily ride and the distance between stops ( in hours ) were well judged

I would not hesitate to recommend Eaglerider, this tour or the individuals named to anyone who enjoys Harleys

Thank you for your patience and humour, I will remember this vacation for a long time

Back in the UK it is 40F cooler, 50" of rain wetter and the pace of life about 10 times faster but as I learned in Baja it dozenfuggenmetta

Best wishes

Baja Tour

Good afternoon

We have just returned from the Baja tour and our heads are buzzing. What an absolutely unbelievable experience that words struggle to describe. The riding and scenery are just out of this world. The beaches are just like paradise and the hotels were all excellent. Oh and did I mention the food - this is a gastronomic delight!!

Our guides Jeff and Brad we knew from Route 66 and it was great meeting up with old friends and also making new friends, DJ who was the back up driver turned out to be a real cool surfer dude. These guys made the trip - they take you to all the best places and every day was living the dream!!

There is so much more I could say but what happens in Baja stays in Baja!! - our advise it to do the trip and do it now!!

We will be doing another trip and will be requesting the dream team

Regards
