Tour Itinerary

Standing next to your motorcycle at our EagleRider San Diego location, your heart will be pounding with anticipation as we get closer to the start of your EagleRider Motorcycle Tours Dual Sport Mexican adventure. Once geared up, we ride out of the city as fast as we can and head for the border. Our group will be crossing the American/Mexican border at Tecate and once in Mexico, you’ll experience your first Mexican culinary delight as we take in a few street tacos for lunch. From there, we kick up some dust and leave the city lights behind as we travel through the hills and forests of Northern Mexico. We'll make camp on a ranch just outside Ensenada tonight.
Today we'll leave Ensenada and head East for the beaches of San Felipe. Along the way we'll ride through some of the best back-country Mexico has to offer. Be sure to take some time and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. After riding through deserts, valleys, and mountains; what better reward than a dip in the Sea of Cortez to wash of some of the well earned dirt we picked up earlier in the day. Our seaside hotel tonight provides a good stay for a great days' ride.
Now that we've ridden some great roads, today we take a relaxing cruise down the coast. The road is nicely paved and runs along the picturesque shores of the Sea of Cortez. However, the pavement doesn't last forever and we'll soon be riding where our bikes are meant to be. Out in the middle of the desert is famous outpost called Coco's Corner. As we cool down for the evening in Catavina and reflect on the ride so far, keep in mind that part of our EagleRider experience introduces you to places and cultures you may not be familiar with. Enjoy and embrace a different way of life.
They say that all roads lead to the ocean and today this message holds truth. However, there is plenty of riding today before we put our feet in the cool waters of the Pacific Ocean. You'll be amazed today as we ride through huge boulder and cactus fields en route to San Quinitn. Get ready for a treat this afternoon as we'll be riding on the beach to our hotel. That's right, no roads, no trails; simply the sand beneath your tires and the Pacific Ocean to your left. Awesome!
The Baja 1000 is a world famous off-road race that runs through Baja Peninsula every year in November. Today will follow a good portion of the actual race route to give you an idea of what each driver must endure. Tonight we head back towards Ensenada through the hills and vineyards of the surrounding land. Once we get to the small town of La Mision, located in the lush river valley, we head east on ranch roads toward Valle de Guadalupe. Along the way we pass more vineyards linked together by ranch roads and two-lane country roads. After all this vineyard riding, one has probably worked up a thirst to sample some of the regions best. Well, we have arranged for some wine tasting this afternoon should you so desire.
This morning we head north to until we reach Valle de La Palms. From here, we leave the pavement and head west into the hills as we twist and turn our way through the rugged outback where each turn offers something different. Even though today is our last day on the bikes, the adventure isn't over yet. Once we are back in the US, we enjoy some great back country riding through the hills made famous by gold miners. We stop in Julian for a slice of apple pie before descending back down to San Diego to turn in our keys. Tonight we'll reminisce and celebrate the accomplishment of completing this epic ride.
Although we're sad to see everyone go, we take great pleasure and pride in riding with you these past few days. Until we ride together again, take care and enjoy life.

Baja California Tour April 9th - 23rd, 2017

My name is Stefan Schubert and together with my wife we just finished a.m. Baja California tour. It was our 3rd tour with Eagle Rider ( after Route 66 in 2015 and Canada and Yellowstone in 2016 ).
This Baja California tour was again a great experience for us. Tour was well organized and Stefano ( together with Alex as Van driver ) was a really excellent and absolute customer focused tour leader.
It was a good advantage that thery know Baia, they both spoke the language (Spanish), in such a land as Mexico it is then much easier to bring us more near to the native life of Mexicans. We were everywhere very welcomed, in San Ignacio an older man come to his Taco stand in the evening just for us to make us excellent tacos. It was everywhere clear that Stefano is very empatic and people like him very much . He was very open, always helpful and could handle each situation with a positive approach and a smile. He was care of us more or less 24 hours/day.

We thank Eagle Rider that we could spend again more than 2 weeks of our life with nice people in a nice country.

With best regards from Austria
Stefan & Martina

Baja Trip April 9-24th 2017

By way of introduction, my name is Mario Stojic. My wife, Christine and I had the pleasure of participating in the April 2017 Baja ride, and what a ride it was. I guess you need no description of what it was like as just the mere mention of it would fill in the details.

This was our first guided tour with Eaglerider and certainly will not be our last. That decision is based primarily on the strength of your tour guides. Lead guide Stefano Trampetti and van guide Alex.

Stefano has the most remarkable temperament, always friendly, courteous and happy, even when faced with adversity. He handled the tour extremely professionally and never let any of his concerns be felt by the participants on the tour. His knowledge and recommendations were always insightful and led to positive outcomes and experiences.

Alex, well he just made everyone laugh with his cats meow catch cry, it became so infectious that everyone on the tour started to meow by the end, heck I find myself doing it after the tour still... Alex was always at the ready to ply us with water during stops and the end of day "refreshment".

Stefano and Alex are such a good team, they made it easy to be on the tour. Even showing us some amazing off tour stops (San Javier mission around Loreto) on our day off ride.

So in summary , this was our first guided tour and both my wife and I felt some trepidation in participating as we generally ride by ourselves. Your "Rock Star" tour guides handled it so well, we are looking at doing other tours based on them being our guides again. I will certainly be asking for them in the future.

Thanks to Eaglerider and your Rock Star guides... we look forward to riding with you again very soon.

Regards,
Mario and Christine Stojic
