How do I use EagleRider discounts?
Except for promotion codes, EagleRider discounts are applied automatically if your reservation meets any of the criteria mentioned above.

To use a promotion code, simply enter the code on the homepage widget as you start your reservation. You can do this by selecting the "Have a promotion code?" prompt. Promotion codes can also be entered on the checkout page, under Reservation Total. Please note that the promotion code prompt does not appear for certain types of reservations, such as reservations made on the Deals page.

EagleRider Discounts Terms & Conditions
We no longer offer or accept returning customer discounts. All discounts are non-transferable and cannot be combined with additional promotions or discounts.

We take a valid driver’s license from your home country stating that you’re allowed to ride a motorcycle equivalent to the motorcycle you are renting. Please note that the state laws of which you are renting your vehicle from are the laws which are applicable for your rental.

Licenses issued from the United States:

· Two-wheel vehicles: Motorcycles

o All 50 states require some sort of motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license which is equivalent to the motorcycle you are renting.

· Three-wheel: Trikes

o A three-wheel vehicle endorsement may be required

Here are some examples of alternative licenses that we accept:

Licenses issued from the European Union (Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden):

· A1/A2 – Will allow you to rent scooters.

· A – Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.

· B1 – Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.

Licenses issued from Canada:

· Class 6 designation – For all provinces except for Ontario

o Ontario

§ Class M1/M2: Will allow you to rent scooters.

§ Class M: Will allow you to rent motorcycles or scooters.

§ Class M Condition M: Will allow you to rent three-wheeled vehicles.

Licenses issued from Australia:

· R-Date – Will allow you to ride scooters.

· R – Will allow you to ride motorcycles or scooters.

Licenses issued from Brazil:

· Category A - designation on your driver’s license to ride any motorcycle or scooters.

International Driver’s Permits (not required for EagleRider):

· Although not required, it is recommended for all visitors with a license in a foreign language to obtain an IDP.

· So long as your license is understandable, we will accept it.

Depending on your state issued license requirements, a motorcycle endorsement may not be required*. Below is a list of states that do not require a motorcycle endorsement to drive the Slingshot. Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington. Depending on your state issued license requirements, a 3-wheel motorcycle license may be required to drive the Can-Am Spyder*. The states of California, Nevada, and South California do not require a 3-wheel motorcycle license and a vehicle license is sufficient to rent the Can-Am Spyder. Absolutely. All EagleRider locations offer complimentary hotel pick-up within a 7 mile radius for rentals and Self-Drive Tours that are 3 days or more. If our hotel shuttle is not available EagleRider covers the cost of a taxi from hotels within a 7 mile radius. EagleRider does not provide airport pick-up or reimburse for taxi expenses for transportation to or from an airport.

Rain suits can be purchased at most locations, though we do not rent them.

It partially covers damage & theft. Renters pay up to $1,000 per occurrence.

Supplemental Liability Insurance protects the renter, and the passenger, with third party liability coverage. We offer two options. One covers up to $300,000 and the other covers up to $1,000,000 in excess of statutory limits required.

Absolutely. EagleRider is the only motorcycle rental and tour company in the United States that offers One Way Rentals between all of our more than 60 locations. Some restrictions apply for riders wishing to do a One Way Rental across international borders. For One Way Rentals between our International Locations please contact our Global Reservations Department.

Yes, EagleRider offers additional protection for ATV’s for $25.00 a day. Please select this option when checking out at all locations where ATV’s are offered.

While not standard on motorcycle rentals, helmet communication devices are available for purchase at most EagleRider locations including: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Denver, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, and Chicago.

Trailers and sweeper vans are available for rent at the following EagleRider locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Denver, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, and Chicago. RAM mounts are available for purchase in the retail merchandise section of these locations.

VIP Theft and Damage: Renter pays up to $2,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $2,000 USD per occurrence of theft.

EVIP Theft & Damage: Renter pays up to $1,000 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $1,000 USD per occurrence of theft.

EVIP ZERO Theft & Damage: Renter pays $0 USD for damage to the motorcycle and $1,000 USD per occurrence of theft.

There are no seat belts available on any motorcycle model. Passengers must be able to reach the passenger foot boards flat footed as per United States law. If a passenger is under 18, a Parent or Guardian must sign a liability waiver.

Unfortunately, no. We encourage our customers to return their rental bikes during business hours in order to close out their reservation and avoid any damages or additional charges that may occur when a motorcycle is unaccounted for.

Yes, all locations are open to walk-ins during their respective business hours.

No, but we do offer a wide selection of motorcycles with passenger seats available.

Absolutely. Most stores can offer the following bikes with saddlebags and a backrest: Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road King, Heritage Softail, Fat Boy, Indian Chieftain, Indian Vintage, Indian Roadmaster, BMW 1200GS, BMW 1200RT, and Honda Goldwing. These bikes can usually be offered with saddlebags too: Sportster 1200, Sportster 883, Indian Scout, Low Rider, Triumph Bonneville T100, Triumph Tiger 800, and Honda ST1300.

Jacket rentals are available at most stores. We carry both leather and textile. We also have a large selection of jackets available for purchase.

EagleRider does not provide airport pick-up or reimburse taxi expenses for transportation to or from the airport.

All EagleRider rentals include a complimentary DOT Approved half-shell helmet for rider and passenger. Many locations offer complimentary 3/4 or full-face helmets, subject to availability at the time of pick-up. All rental motorcycles also come equipped with one cable lock and disc brake lock for added security and peace of mind while traveling. All popular touring models are equipped with saddle bags for storage, but sizes vary due to make and model. Additional motorcycle storage bags that attach to seat backs are available for purchase in most EagleRider locations. Complimentary secure luggage storage service is offered at all EagleRider locations. Luggage shipping service for One-Way Rentals is available at many locations.

Yes. Once you complete your quick rental check-in at our location one of our team members will provide a comprehensive orientation of your EagleRider rental motorcycle. The orientation will include a thorough damage and safety inspection, as well as detailed instruction on features, engine starting and cutoff procedures, location of braking, turn signals, emergency flashers, stereo operations, saddle bags, cable and disc locking procedures, location and storage of the motorcycle registration, and much more. Be sure to ask as many questions as you need to feel 100% comfortable and confident with your motorcycle before you start your journey.

Depending on which Theft and Damage Waiver you choose, a security deposit between $100 - $2,000 will be required when you are picking up your motorcycle. The security deposit will be deducted against the available balance on your credit card. Once your motorcycle is returned on time and free of damage the security deposit will be released.

Absolutely. All EagleRider locations offer a complimentary secure luggage storage area. Many EagleRider locations offer Luggage Shipping Service at an additional cost for One Way Rentals.

Half-shell helmets for riders and passengers are included with your motorcycle rental. In addition, the majority of EagleRider locations have motorcycle gear and accessory showrooms stocked with the latest styles of helmets, gloves, chaps, jackets, riding glasses, and everything else you will need for the perfect ride. If you are traveling from overseas be sure to take advantage of current favorable exchange rates by purchasing all of your new riding gear at an EagleRider location.

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a motorcycle with EagleRider. There is no age limit for passengers, however the passenger must be able to reach the passenger foot pegs or floorboards of the bike.

Yes, 1 additional rider is permitted at no additional cost. The minimum age for an additional driver is 21 and a valid motorcycle license is required.

Absolutely. All EagleRider rental locations offer motorcycle deliver and pick-up for individuals and groups. Please contact EagleRider Global Reservations or the location you are working with for a detailed quotation. These services carry an additional cost that will vary due to number of bikes, location, seasonality, or other factors, and are subject to availability of motorcycles and staff.

First and foremost, make sure that your motorcycle is parked a safe distance from the shoulder of the road if you are not able to stop in a secure area. All EagleRider rental locations provide a free 24 Hour Breakdown telephone number you can call for assistance. Many of our Theft and Damage Waiver options cover some or all of the cost of flat tire repair. A Theft and Damage Waiver that covers flat tires may be purchased or upgraded to at the Rental Counter during motorcycle pick-up if it is not included in your original rental package.

All EagleRider motorcycles are presented with a full tank of fuel at the start of your rental, and should be returned with a full tank of fuel as well. If your motorcycle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel you will incur a refueling charge. In order to save time and the hassles of refueling immediately prior to returning your motorcycle, EalgeRider offers a convenient Prepaid Fuel Option that can be selected during your booking process or at our Rental Counter during pick-up.

Absolutely. Most EalgeRider locations offer Tom Tom or Garmin GPS units for rent. If you want us to handle most of the planning for you, EagleRider GPS Route Specialists can pre-program your route, or one of our proprietary EagleRider Tour Routes in to your GPS unit for a small additional charge.

EagleRider policy for riding your rental motorcycle across international borders varies from country to country. It is always best to contact our Global Reservations Department or the location you are renting from for details on requirements, limitations, or restrictions for taking EaglerRider rental motorcycles across international borders. The fewest restrictions for crossing international borders are always on an EagleRider Operated or Approved Guided Tour. For a complete list of international tours offered by EagleRider and our Touring Partners please contact our Tour Department.

Certain models provide for lockable storage. the Harley Davidson Electra Glide, Harley Davidson Road king Standard, Harley Davidson Street Glide, Honda Gold Wing, Honda ST 1300, and Indian Chieftain motorcycles all include lockable storage, but other models do not. Regardless of whether or not your saddlebags and other storage areas lock, EagleRider always recommends that you do not leave valuables or other items stored in your motorcycle overnight or when you are away from the motorcycle for extended periods.

All EagleRider locations provide you with a 24 Hour Breakdown telephone number that you can call for immediate assistance. Our team will make arrangements to have the motorcycle towed to the nearest EagleRider location or repair shop to help get you back on the road as quickly as we can. For the most comprehensive plan, we always recommend our EVIP Plus or EVIP Zero Theft and Damage Waiver.

Motorcycle rental reservations are paid in full at the time of booking. If a motorcycle upgrade is requested and available during pick-up, or if you would like to add or upgrade your Theft and Damage Waiver, Supplemental Liability Insurance, or include a GPS, Travel-Tab international phone and internet, or other items while you are at our location you may do so. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason we will issue you a Rain Check that may be redeemed towards a future rental or EagleRider tour. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for a comprehensive review of our cancellation policy.

Rental rates are based on 24 hour increments. If you pick up the bike at 10:00 AM it is due back by 10:00 AM the agreed upon day. EagleRider offers rate discounts starting for rentals of 7 days or more. We also offer excellent Group Rates so be sure to get your friends and family excited about exploring the world on an EagleRider motorcycle!

The Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®, Electra Glide®, Road Glide® and the Harley Trikes have power outlets built into the fairing. If you order an EagleRider GPS as part of your rental package one of our technicians will wire it directly to the motorcycle's power source.

Absolutely. EagleRider has incredible rates on thousands of hotels, lodges, B&B, and historic accommodations. We also offer more than 9,000 of the most popular attractions, such as helicopter tours, show tickets, city tours, National Park entrance fees, and much, much more.

Unfortunately, there are so many varieties of electronic devices out there that we cannot offer installation service. We will be happy to lend you a hand (and the tools) installing your bolt on mounts, but as for electronic hooks ups, you will have to come prepared with you own power cables compatible with the motorcycle model you are renting. The best option for a GPS solution is to have one added to your reservation for $15/day. Our device with be pre-wired into the biker electrical system and come with the latest maps and many POI’s already loaded in.
