Day 1 : San Francisco - Santa Rosa
San Francisco Explorer

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head north – and welcome to biker’s paradise! Ride via the quaint seaside town of Sausalito over to Sonoma. You are in beautiful wine country – follow the twisty, less-traveled roads, cutting through farms, vineyards and orchards – up to Calistoga, home of world-famous hot springs and mud baths. Continue a few miles west into Santa Rosa, your base for tonight.


Day 2 : Santa Rosa - Mendocino/Fort Bragg

San Francisco Explorer

From Santa Rosa you head back to the ocean and ride via Sebastopol to Bodega Bay. Pick up Hwy 1 and enjoy a fabulous ride along the northern Pacific Coast. You head to Mendocino, the picturesque artist colony. Overnight.


Day 3 : Mendocino/Fort Bragg - San Francisco

San Francisco Explorer

From Fort Bragg you take the “Redwood Route” (SR 20) to Willits. In Willits you are back on Hwy 101 south and are in for a wonderful ride through tunnels of redwoods along the Coastal Mountain Range. Stick with scenic Hwy 101 all the way through Santa Rosa and wine country, cross the Golden Gate Bridge back into San Francisco. Upon arrival it will be time to return your motorcycle.
