Day 2 : Tonopah - Ely

Las Vegas Explorer II

Today you are in for lots of open desert with very little competition on the road. Take Hwy 6 out of Tonopah and head over to Warm Springs. Pick up Hwy 375 and go to Rachel, a spooky little place, where the locals tell you lots of stories about aliens and other supernatural occurrences. Continue a few more miles until you hit Hwy 318 and head north to Ely, where you overnight.

Day 3 : Ely - Las Vegas

Las Vegas Explorer II

Take Hwy 93 and head south again; a scenic ride through Shoshone Valley and along Wilson Creek Range. You arrive at Caliente, named for the hot springs originally found in the area. Follow Hwy 93 and cross over to Ash Springs and Alamo and find yourself in some unexpectedly lush country. You ride along Desert National Wildlife Range and get into Las Vegas from the north. Time to return your motorcycle.
