Day 1 : Las Vegas Arrival

Las Vegas & Zion

You arrive at Las Vegas International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 : Las Vegas - Springdale/Zion National Park

Las Vegas & Zion

This morning you will pick up your motorcycle and start a ride that will require a lot of guts! You leave Las Vegas on Route 15 and head east. En route you might want to stop at the historic town of Mesquite, situated at the state line of Arizona/Nevada. You cross into Utah and are on your way to Zion National Park. Compared to Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, Zion exudes a stronger sense of nature. Here, you and your bike make immediate contact with the environment. Check out the seven-mile Zion Park scenic drive – a great ride! Overnight.

Day 3 : Springdale/Zion National Park - Page

Las Vegas & Zion

You continue riding east and soon you get to the section of Grand Escalante – arches striped red, brown and white dot the landscape here. Between Bryce Canyon National Park and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument consists of 1.7 million acres in southern Utah. As you enter Arizona you will cruise the Vermillion Cliffs – elevations here range from 3,100 to 7,100 feet. Your road is SR 89, which takes you all the way into Page. You are in Navajo Country now…and legend has it that this barren land was a bewitched place, where the trees died of fear. You overnight in Page.

Day 4 : Page - Williams

Las Vegas & Zion

From Page you pick up SR 89 and head south towards Cameron, which is an old trading post. Make a right turn here on SR 64 and soon you can enjoy a cruise along the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. You are on your way to the fantastic Grand Canyon, a place much larger than anything you can imagine. Take some time for spiritual moments here before you head down to Williams, your stop for tonight.

Day 5 : Williams - Laughlin

Las Vegas & Zion

In Williams you can “get your kicks” as you enter Historic Route 66 – the old Mother Road – here. Ride via Ash Fork and cruise down Memory Lane towards the town of Seligman, one of the longest surviving stretches of the old road. Then it’s off to Peach Springs, the trading center and headquarters for the Hualpai Indian Reservation, which covers nearly a million acres between the town and the Colorado River. Further on your ride will take you into Kingman, the “Heart of Historic Route 66”. From Kingman it’s a few more miles and you are in Nevada. You overnight in Laughlin, a gambling mecca in the middle of the desert.

Day 6 : Laughlin - Furnace Creek

Las Vegas & Zion

From Laughlin you pick up SR 163 for a few miles until you hit US 95, go north and then enter SR 164, which will merge with I-15 and take you along the Mojave National Preserve. At Baker you take SR 127 and are on your way to Death Valley, the hottest place on earth. Your bike needs to be in peak condition to face the challenge of the barren loneliness out here. You are falling hundreds of feet below sea level as you are riding in the basin of Death Valley. You head to Furnace Creek Ranch, where you stay the night in below sea level luxury.

Day 7 : Furnace Creek - Las Vegas

Las Vegas & Zion

Today it’s back to the glimmer and glitter of Las Vegas. You pick up SR 190 to Death Valley Junction, then take SR 127 to Shoshone, continue to Pahrump and from here Hwy 160 will take you back into Las Vegas. You return your motorcycle and transfer back to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 8 : Las Vegas Departure

Las Vegas & Zion

Today your adventurous trip will end with your departure flight back home.
