Day 1 : Palm Springs Arrival
Arrive at Palm Springs International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 : Palm Springs - Phoenix
This morning you will pick up your bike and your exiting trip through vast open country can begin. From Palm Springs take Hwy 62 towards Joshua Tree, where you turn right on Park Blvd. Enjoy a scenic ride through Joshua Tree National Park – you see amazing colors, rock canyons, and more kind of cacti than you ever knew existed. Pick up Quail Springs Rd and turn right at El Dorado Mine Road, then head south to Hwy 10, which will take you all the way into Phoenix. Phoenix is one of the fastest growing cities in the US, mainly due to the dry climate and many days of sunshine. Overnight.
Day 3 : Phoenix - Flagstaff
From Phoenix you head north on Hwy 17 until you get to Montezuma Castle, a National Monument of well-preserved ancient cliff dwellings, which you should visit. Continue to Sedona, a unique town with a dramatic other world scenery. Sedona is famous for its spiritual energy and a thriving art community. From uptown Sedona you take Hwy 89A and you will find yourself in a natural paradise for motorcycle travelers on your run through Oak Creek Canyon – probably the most intimate spot on the southern edge of the great Colorado Plateau. The scenery may look familiar, since many scenes in Cowboy movies had been filmed here. Hwy 89A will take you all the way to Flagstaff, where you overnight.
Day 4 : Flagstaff - Grand Canyon
From Flagstaff it’s only a short ride to the fantastic Grand Canyon. Take Hwy 89 to Cameron, then enter Hwy 64 West and enjoy cruising along the South Rim. You will have all day to explore the majestic canyon, which is far larger than anything you can imagine. Overnight.
Day 5 : Grand Canyon - Kingman
After a morning at the Grand Canyon you take Hwy 64 toward Williams. Here your journey gets legendary appeal, as you enter Historic Route 66, the “Mother Road”, which you get to ride all the way to Kingman. Kingman is considered the “Heart of Historic Route 66”. Take a cruise down Memory Lane and don’t forget to stop at the Historic Route 66 Museum. You overnight in Kingman.
Day 6 : Kingman - Las Vegas
From Kingman you head for the glittering “Entertainment Capital of the World” to Las Vegas. Take Hwy 93 and enjoy a ride through Lake Mead National Recreation Area and the Cerbat Mountains. Hwy 93 will take you to one of the world’s greatest man-made structures, the Hoover Dam, which marks the border between Arizona and Nevada. Continue to Las Vegas. Overnight.
Day 7 : Las Vegas - Palm Springs
From Las Vegas take Hwy 15 all the way to Baker. You are riding along Mojave National Park. At Baker make a left turn and enjoy a scenic ride through the park. Follow the road to Amboy, where you make a left turn, head towards Joshua Tree National Park. Follow the road to Twentynine Palms and take Hwy 62 back into Palm Springs. Now it’s time to return your bike and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 8 : Palm Springs Departure
Today your journey will end with your departure flight back home.
