Day 1 : Denver - Glenwood Springs

Denver Explorer III

Pick up Hwy 70, one of the most scenic Highways in the United States. Ride via Georgetown and further on through Eisenhower Tunnel and on to Vail, one of Colorado's flourishing resort centers. Follow Hwy 70 all the way into Glenwood Springs, which has the World's Largest Outdoor Hot Springs Pool. Overnight.

Day 2 : Glenwood Springs - Steamboat Springs

Denver Explorer III

Today you ride a loop around White River National Forest, once a favorite hunting ground for the Ute Indians. Follow Hwy 70 to Rifle, where you enter Hwy 13 toward Craig, a starting point for exploring the meandering canyons of the Yampa and Green rivers. From here you ride along Yampa River and are on your way to Steamboat Springs, a prominent winter sports resort. Overnight.

Day 3 : Steamboat Springs - Denver

Denver Explorer III

You ride across the Rocky Mountains and head over to Hot Sulphur Springs – the mineral waters here have been used since the days of the Ute Indians. At Lake Granby you enter Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoy a most scenic ride via Estes Park and Boulder back into Denver. Return your motorcycle.
