Day 1 : Denver - Gunnison

Denver Explorer II

Head west out of Denver and pick up Hwy 285 and enjoy a scenic ride through Pike National Forest. At Poncha Springs enter Hwy 50 and cruise over to Gunnison, located in the fertile valley of the Gunnison River and your gateway to Gunnison National Park. Overnight.


Day 2 : Gunnison - Glenwood Springs

Denver Explorer II

Ride over to Montrose and make sure to stop for a view down into the fearsome Black Rock Canyon to the foaming Gunnison River below – this is as macabre as mountain scenery can get. Continue to Delta, take Hwy 133 and you ride through Gunnison National Forest up to Glenwood Springs, which has the “World’s Largest Outdoor Hot Springs Pool”. Overnight.


Day 3 : Glenwood Springs - Denver

Denver Explorer II

Pick up Hwy 70, one of the most scenic Highways in the United States, and continue via Eagle to Vail, one of Colorado’s flourishing resort centers. Ride through Eisenhower Tunnel and past Georgetown back into Denver. Return your motorcycle.
